    Senior Teams Trials

Open Trials Date & Venue:
Chelmsford City Ladies are now looking for experienced players to strengthen both their senior first team and reserve teams for next season and will be holding open trials on Wednesday 1^st July from 7pm – 9pm at Marconis Leisure, Southern Fields, West Hanningfield Road, Great Baddow, CM2 8HN. The senior first team play in the Eastern Region League Premier Division having finished this season in second place while the second team compete in Division 2 of the Essex County Women’s league, who finished third and have claimed the league's Most Sporting Team Award.

Chelmsford City also cater for Under 10, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 15 age groups next season in the Essex County Girls Football League. The U11’s were Eastern Division league champions along with the U14s who were league runners up in Division 2. New players are also required for these age groups.

  CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Chelmsford City Ladies 1^st Team, who have secured Runners Up spot in the Premier Division.

Well done to the team for working hard and achieving this reward in our first season in the Premier Division.

                  The Club would like to extend their Congratulations and thanks to Manager Clare Andrews,

Coach Sharon Brownlie and the Players for a superb achievement.

 

Chelmsford City Ladies FC have now been confirmed as runners-up in the Eastern Region Women's League Premier Division. Having finished their matches four weeks ago, they have been waiting for their rivals to complete their season. Having to play each other, results went the Clarets way, ensuring second spot,  which is a tribute to the teams hard work and determination following promotion last season. One of the main contributions to their success has been the wonderful team spirit which has been evident in both senior teams this season.

 

Chelmsford City Ladies & Girls Football Club held their end of season presentation evening recently with a number of awards. Guest of honour for the evening who presented the awards was Chelmsford City First Team striker Bertie Brayley.

The Under 11 team were presented with the Essex County Girls League Eastern Division Trophy, won the previous Sunday while the Under 14 team picked up their Division 2 runners-up trophies.

CONGRATULATIONS

To the Under 11's on becoming League Champions, after a nail biting Play Off game against Writtle Minors.

Chelmsford City U11's 2 - 1 Writtle Minors after extra time, with are goals coming from Sophie Vale in the second half and with one minute of Extra time left Charlotte Barnard netted the winner, for a well deserved win by all the girls.

Congratulations go to the Chelmsford City Ladies FC Under 14 Team who secured runners-up spot in Division 2. Goals from Shannon Jones (2) and Rosie Coe (1) secured a 3-1 home victory over Assandun Vikings on Sunday to move them into second place with a game still left to play.

The club would like to extend their congratulations and thanks to Steve Brown, Simon Horne and the players for a superb achievement.
