 Chelmsford City 15 -0 Harlow Town

 CHELMSFORD City did their goal difference a world of good with 15 goals salvo against a depleted Harlow side who could only field nine players.

    Within four minutes, a Lucy Garrett shot opened the scoring which set the scene.

    Chelmsford passed the ball around well with Emma Wake and Lucy Garrett prominent in the centre of midfield.

    By half-time, City held a 6-0 lead and continued to dictate the play after the break.

    As Harlow’s legs tired, City’s fitness showed, and the goals came at regular intervals.

    City’s final goal came from Vanessa Smith, deputising in goal as she went forward to a last minute corner and stabbed the ball home following a Paula Drane’s deep corner.

    The final tally showed Paula Drane net Five goals, Emma Ridings two, Emma Wake two, Sharon Brownlie one, Lucy Garrett one, Kerri Binks one, Natalie Madlin one, Vanessa Smith, one and the rout was completed by an own goal.
