 Chelmsford City 3 – 0 White Horse Seltic

 AFTER a scrappy affair on a muddy Barnston pitch on Sunday, City ground out a 3-0 win over White Horse Seltic to secure their first home win of 2006.

    The first half saw City have only one goal to show for their efforts. They took the lead on 25 minutes, courtesy of a neat finish from Emma Ridings.

    Playing uphill trying to preserve a slender lead, City defended with confidence and showed flair in attack.

    Emma Wells doubled City’s lead on the hour, and Wells sealed the points when she met a telling pass from Ridings to fire in City’s third goal.
