 Chelmsford City 13 – 0 Kirkley

 CHELMSFORD City were back to winning ways on Sunday as they stormed to a rousing 13 – 0 victory over their Suffolk opponents Kirkley.

    City put in an impressive first half display and went into the interval with a nine-goal cushion.

    The visitors kept City at bay for the opening minutes of the second period.

    However, City’s quality proved to be decisive and four more goals were scored to secure a straightforward win.

    The goals were netted by Laura Brown (4), Emma Ridings (3), Sarah Jolly (3), Emma Wells, Sharon Brownlie and Ashleigh Harding.

    This victory gives City confidence before this Sunday’s County Cup quarter-final away to Colchester United.
