 Cornard United 0 – 16 Chelmsford City

CHELMSFORD City, with a number of regular players missing, recorded a resounding victory against a struggling Cornard side on Sunday.

City gave a debut to youngster Sarah Jolly, who took her opportunity well with a strong performance that was capped by a well taken hat-trick.

City dominated the game from the start to finish and squandered a number of efforts before taking the lead in the 13th minute, through leading Goalscorer, Kerri Binks.

In a blistering eight minute spell, City netted a further four goals to lead 5-0, with Binks taking her tally to four, and Natalie Madlin also getting on the scoresheet.

By half time, Chelmsford had built up an 8-0 lead and the pattern continued after the restart as City dominated the possession.

A further eight goals in the second half saw the Clarets record their third victory in four league outings with Binks netting a further four goals.

Madlin and Jolly both completed hat-tricks while Lisa Foakes netted her first goal since returning to the club.
