Chelmsford City dropped into the bottom three following Sunday’s narrow defeat.

  Emma Ridings netted City’s goal but things may have been different as they had a penalty appeal turned down and another goal disallowed.

  This means City have now won three, drawn one and lost four of their matches and now look set for a relegation battle in their remaining fixtures.
