Managers and Coaches: Sharon Brownlie

Sharon Brownlie - U11 Coach

Sharon Brownlie has been coaching for over six years and is currently coaching our U11s. After holding the FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate for over two years she recently achieved her Level 2 Certificate, which is a great achievement for her both individually and for the club. Sharon has also completed the FA Coaching Disabled Footballers Course, her Level 2 Certificate in First Aid for Sport, and is an FA JFO Tutor.

Along with those achievements Sharon has also coached in the USA at a girl’s Summer Camp which she hopes to do again in the near future. Sharon also undertakes coaching whilst in her position at the Essex County FA and has recently been on the coaching staff for the Under 16s Girls Representative squad.

Sharon joined Chelmsford City as a player in 2001, and in 2003 she began her coaching role within the club, starting out with a brief spell helping out with Paul Argent's young team (now the U14s).

Soon after this Sharon began her time with the U10s alongside Michael Haydon. This season is Sharon’s third with the U11s and she is enjoying every minute of it. “Now the ”
