  On a lovely sunny afternoon Melissa Burton led Chelmsford out for a friendly match with our friends from Assandun Vikings.

  This game was arranged to try and give everyone a game with some of our new players tried in different positions.

Although nice to win, the score was irrelevant, the whole team played some good football at times and it was again some more good match practice for everyone.

Holly Edwards made her debut for Chelmsford City and was rewarded with a good display and a well taken goal to open her account.

Sophie Vale was rewarded for her 8 goals with the ‘Player of the Match’ award and will lead the team out in their next match this Sunday away to Lt Thurrock Dynamos Oranges in the League Cup.
