City got stuck in straight away with Wheeler forcing an early corner. Ridings made an early run and had her shot saved and the persistent Brown fired the ball into the back of the net. Ridings and Emma Wells had their efforts saved. Defender Claire Pavett made a run and set up Wheeler who had her effort saved. Sharon Brownlie made a crucial tackle and tapped the ball onto Wheeler who had another effort saved.

The second half see more City effort saved by The Colts on form keeper Ridings and wheeler again come closed and Helen Alder also had a fine effort saved. Further efforts from Cat Hyland, Sarah Jolly who were both unlucky not to get on the score sheet.
