City started the game with Brown taking an early chance but going wide. Ridings fired a lofting shot that hit the back of the net to make the score 1-0. City continued to show good form and a vital Alder tackle set wheeler up for city's second consolation goal for city's opponents. There was another crucial midfield tackle by Brownlie and an inspiring run from ridings se her hard work paid of with an inspiring goal. 3-0 city. Minutes later Davis was on the sheet with a very well taken penalty. 4-1

The second half and City continued to work hard.  Binks was on the score sheet with a 30 yard free kick .5-1 city. Minutes later the Jolly linked well with Garret who set up Alder who calmly headed in City's sixth.
